The rain in Spain didn't fall upon the plains.

The holidays are over, I'm afraid. Five weeks of Spain and England, a much-needed break from Mayotte. I like Mayotte very much, it's certainly interesting, but I'm also very pleased to get out occasionally, to see my family and boyfriend, to see more...

Consuegra

South of Madrid lies Consuegra, where Don Quijote's windmills stand on a ridge. Twelve windmills, some of them broken, allegedly by Don Quijote himself. Spain is obsessed with Don Quijote, as there are picture and sculptures everywhere, every village...

Pádel is the most popular sport in Spain. When Philippe chose his flat in Madrid, the guy renting the flat was especially pleased to tell him that the flat was right near two pádel courts. P didn't really know how to answer that, never having heard of...

When in Spain...

I went to Madrid during the half-term holidays to visit P, who was transferred there for his job last December. I'd never been to the capital city before, so that was a very interesting experience. On top of trying to speak Spanish, I learnt a few things...
