We're slowly getting towards the end of the rainy season. It's been raining pretty much every day, but not all day though, just an hour or two at a time. The rain has - as usual - dug gaping holes in the roads, it's a right mess. Some of the roads I take...

Going Swimming At School

The rainy season in in full flow now. This is a short video taken by one of my colleagues at school, a day when 9.2mm of rain fell in two hours accompanied by a pounding thunderstorm that made the headmistress decide to cut off the school's electricity...

It's raining.

Tropical rain isn't anything like European rain. It's not cold, for a start, there's none of that freezing drizzle that bites into your skin and makes you huddle inside your anorak. You can go out in the rain here and actually stay under it for as long...

What's the weather like?

What's the weather like?

The rainy season is over now, and the wind is just starting up. It's still hot though, and will remain so until next November, at which point it will get slightly hotter. It's slightly more breathable now, however. These screenshots are from my Windows...
