Here we go again...

                      This time, it all started with a football match. Majicavo and Kawéni, two neighbouring villages, were playing against each other. Majicavo was winning 3 - 0 when the referee gave a player a yellow card instead of the red card he should have given him. The supporters exploded and everyone went wild. Turtling

                         We've had friends from France over this week. This is the first time people have come into my flat to stay, but everything went well. After taking them to a beach near our flat for starters, we went to N'Gouja beach to go turtle-hunting. N'Gouja is about an hour's drive from the flat, it's the main "white beach" of Mayotte. Raving about Diving

                                   An interesting morning spent diving in the lagoon today! Called a baptême de plongée, it’s an initiation to diving where everything is done for you, the idea is really to see if you like it and if you’re capable of not panicking underwater.
