Dziani Dzaha II
You may remember a map similar to this one. There's a pretty lake on the small island, and we took our friends round it to show them what it was like. A fairly long walk to get to the top, but definitely worth it once we got there.
We started off from home in the car - a two-seater, so two in the front and two sitting backwards in the (rather uncomfortable) boot - and took the ferry to the small island. We'd taken off fairly late, so we stopped for something to eat as soon as we got to the other side. We had originally planned to take a taxi to the base of the lake crater so as to save our friends' legs, but we ended up walking the whole way. It's not very far, just hot.
This time, though, instead of going all the way round the lake - there's not a lot to see, anyway, apart from the power station and trees on either side - we turned right to a track above the beach which offered rather a beautiful view of said beach.
Just behind the first beach are a few smaller ones. Directly behind was the beach where we went to see the turtles laying, although as it was dark, we didn't actually see very much, just heard the turtles scratching around and throwing sand everywhere.
